YES, astrophotography season is upon us. And now the Milky Way rises at a time more acceptable for us sleepyheads. That's me :-D
Steve Clifton Photography will again be our guest host on this workshop. Steve's knowledge about shooting the night sky and on how to read "Sky apps" is up there with the best! Make sure to quiz him if you have any queries. Don't miss this VERY reasonably priced opportunity to extend your photography skills in perhaps one of the most challenging of genres.
We've set Friday night as the main shoot night, but if it's deemed too cloudy or it's going to rain we will reschedule for the Saturday night. If you sign up to this workshop it is imperative that you add yourself as "going" to the Facebook event - otherwise you won't get the updates on whether the shoot date has changed. You can find the link to Facebook here: Susan Blick Photography
**Those people who attended the Te Arai astro shoot on the 29th of January - which was much too cloudy - please email me firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to this event without further payment. You MUST email me ASAP though, because we need to keep a check on attendee numbers.
On the 21st the Milky Way will start to rise after 9.30pm. We will shoot it through till approximately midnight. These times should suit most people, as it is presumed we would all drive North on Friday evening after work and dinner. The exact meetup location will be provided to attendees closer to the workshop date.
